Today I present the second installment of the EcoPolo Summer Mani Challenge. This week calls for summer and glitter and the first thing I thought was, neon! And then I realized I have no neon glitters (must fix this). So I found things that seemed like summer to me.
This was a 6-7 coat mani depending on which color I used. I started with my Nailtiques 2 as a base coat. For the Barry M Satsuma, I used 2 coats. The nails that got Essie The Girls Are Out ended up being 3 coats. I love the Barry M Gelly formula. The below picture is prior to any cleanup.
Essie is usually slammed for their lack of shimmer in the bottle translating to the nail but this beauty does not have that problem.
On my left hand, I used to Essie as a double accent nail and on my right hand I reversed it. This is how awful my right hand looks prior to cleanup.
Then I used one coat of Elevation Polish Catch a Wave.
I love the full effect on both hands!
Catch a Wave is a great glitter with a slightly tinted base.
I can't get enough of the combos!
Look at those circles!
This mani has a summer beach feel to me. What do you think?
Check out the other girls!
Love this! Nice pairing!
