Mint Madness With Barry M and White Owl Lacquers

Have I expressed my love for the Barry M gelly nail paints enough?  I have used them so much in the short time I've owned them.  They a are wonderful addition to any collection.  Today I decided to try Greenberry with Water Lilies from White Owl Lacquers.

I started out with two coats of Greenberry.  I would describe this polish as a deeply pigmented, bright mint green.

There is a lot of shine on these polishes even without top coat.  The application has been nothing less than perfect on every single one I have used.

Water Lilies is the first polish I've purchased from White Owl Lacquers.  I love the mix of glitter in this polish, especially the circles!  The base is a very sheer, milky mint and I wanted more of a pop.  So on top of Greenberry it goes!

I applied two thin coats just to get more glitter on the nail.

Look at that pink circle!  It's my favorite part.

Without manipulating the glitters, there were a couple of pieces that overlapped near the base of my thumb nail.  I didn't fix them so you can see it, but this could be easily corrected by just sliding one glitter piece over slightly.

I really love how the milky base of Water Lilies tones down the brightness of Greenberry.  I feel like this polish is much better layered over a brighter color to prevent the base from washing out the undies too much.

Do you own and White Owl Lacquers?
